The Coaching Floor

Trainers who coach the person in front of them.

Coaches covering strength, boxing, functional training, and nutrition, all working off the same gym floor as everyone else. Book an assessment and they'll build a programme around where you actually are, rather than what a template assumes.

Meera boxed competitively through her twenties and now channels that into pad work and technique sessions for members at every level. She keeps things high-energy and hands-on, and works especially well with beginners who are nervous about throwing their first punch.

One-on-One

How personal training works

Four steps, from your first sit-down to a plan that keeps changing as you do.

01

Assessment

Your first session is a sit-down and a movement screen: mobility, training history, injuries, and what you actually want out of training. No workout happens until your trainer understands where you're starting from.

02

Programme build

Your trainer builds a plan around the assessment: exercise selection, load, and session structure matched to your goal and your schedule. You'll walk through it together before the first coached session, so nothing is a surprise.

03

Coached sessions

Every session is one-on-one on the gym floor, with your trainer adjusting weight, tempo, and technique in real time. Sessions are booked around your availability, not a fixed class time.

04

Review

Every four to six weeks you and your trainer sit down again, using the same movement checks and the same conversation, to see what's changed and adjust the plan. Programmes shift as you get stronger; they don't stay static for a year.

Personal Training Rates

Trainer FAQ

Do I need personal training if I'm just starting out?

Not necessarily. Our group classes are coached and scaled for beginners too. But if you want closer attention on form, a faster start, or you're carrying an old injury, PT gets you there quicker than working it out on the gym floor alone.

Can I train with a friend?

Yes. Two people can share a PT slot at the same per-session rate split between you, as long as you're training at a similar level. Let the front desk know when you book so your trainer can plan a session that works for both of you.

How do I pick a trainer?

Read through the bios above and go with whoever's specialism matches your goal: strength, boxing, functional training, or nutrition. If you're still unsure, come in for a quick chat at the front desk and we'll match you based on what you're training for and how you like to be coached.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Give us at least 12 hours' notice and we'll move your session to another slot that week at no cost. Late cancellations and no-shows use up one session from your block.
